![]() I knew I had to turn the dishes to collect the sounds, but where I did get stuck was the order. At first glance it can be overwhelming at what to do but it became obvious pretty fast. The sound level wasn't too hard, at least not as hard as it looks. I haven't actually played in a few months so hopefully I haven't forgotten what to do, other than I have to make sounds. I still have to figure out this island of sounds as I just made it there. I couldn't figure out the sounds from the tiny replica and manipulating the control system. The island in the center of the ocean where you have to turn it to line up the walk ways was probably the hardest part so far. Overall the puzzles weren't too bad, some easier than others, however the film video parts or CGI was so-so. I heard they are in the very early stages of a Riven remake. Great game so far, and hopefully it has some replayability to it as I'm thinking about starting again at some point. I'm now at the part where I have to figure out the sounds, or make sounds? That island. Probably took me 4-5 solid hours to figure out the tower all while walking around in circles lol. It took me forever to figure out the tower was the solution to get to the other islands. Yes I'm still playing it and close to the end, I think. Both brothers are assholes so im happy to have gotten the good ending too□□ĬG character models werent the best and I would much rather have them do it like the classics with pre-recorded real life actors but otherwise it was fun! The story was really good, especially the environmental storytelling. The puzzles were challenging and well made. Thats when I started to get invested into the game and its story. Surprisingly fun and rewarding experience! The first few minutes I was clueless but once I entered the library, I decided to invest some time into reading each book and exploring.Īnd through exploring and going up the tower, I noticed how everything that was once disconnected from each other started to fit together. So what do I think of it now that I finished it? While I was interested, I had no confidence in myself as someone who would be good with puzzles so I never tried any of the games until MYST came on Game Pass.
